About this experience
What to expect

▲ Zhangmei Amma Farm is a popular family-friendly attraction in Yilan. Not only is it loved by families, but also by many animal-loving travelers. The farm is well-maintained and beautifully landscaped with Japanese-style scenery, making it perfect for photos. Visitors can experience feeding sika deer, alpacas, capybaras, wallabies, miniature deer, agoutis, tortoises, and more. Recently, the farm has introduced adorable Valais Blacknose sheep and the super cute, slow-moving, and lazy-looking sloths! Admission requires a ticket, and visitors can exchange their ticket stubs for a small snack like red bean cakes, scallion pancakes, or egg waffles.

▲ Qingshui Geothermal Park features designated areas like egg-boiling pools, cooling pools, and foot-soaking pools. Visitors can purchase ingredients and rent cooking equipment at the visitor center to enjoy outdoor cooking. While waiting for food to cook, they can relax at the complimentary foot-soaking pools nearby, combining hot spring soaking with picnic fun.

▲ Wufengqi Waterfall is located in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County. Behind the waterfall, five sharp peaks stand side by side, resembling the five triangular flags behind a general in traditional Chinese opera, hence the name "Wufengqi."

▲ Luodong Forestry Culture Park preserves many Japanese-style houses, log ponds, and other unique landscapes. The original buildings are used for cultural exhibitions, and a wood-chip trail is laid along the lakeshore. The entire park is lush and tranquil, making it perfect for families to stroll and explore. The park displays a steam train to recreate the scene of timber transportation in the past. A train carriage is also placed in the park, converted into a tea house where visitors can dine and relax inside, offering a unique experience.
