Most people, I suppose, will journey through life without ever experiencing the thrill of riding in a robot." These words, once spoken by someone who had the rare opportunity to pilot a humanoid robot, have lingered in my heart, resonating deeply.
Japan is a unique nation where, from a tender age, it is commonplace to be captivated by the world of piloted robot animations—a cultural phenomenon that is rare on the global stage. The market for these animated tales of mechanized giants spans trillions of yen.
Yet, in stark contrast, the real-world market for piloted robots is virtually non-existent. For decades, no one has succeeded in expanding or establishing a tangible market for "piloted robots." If we do not take up this mantle, it is likely that even after many decades, nothing will have changed.
