▲ Houtong Cat Village, also known as Houtong Cat Street, is a paradise for many cat lovers. In addition to Houtong Station, Centennial Coal Mine Museum, Cat Village Cafe Street, souvenir shops, etc., the scenery along the way is also very nice!
▲ The Houtong Cat Village is well-known for what it is. There are so many cats here that you can’t even count them! It’s not uncommon to see cats around the corner while strolling around the village.
▲ Houtong was a mining settlement in the early days. It became a village where cats gathered due to fate. It was also rated as one of the world's six major cat-watching attractions, the Cat Village. The "Cat Bridge" in the village has cat footprints, photos, illustrations, and a diving platform designed specifically for cats to pass and jump.
▲ The Sky Lantern Festival is a famous sky lantern festival in Taiwan. Every year during the Lantern Festival, tens of thousands of sky lanterns rise into the sky from Pingxi, creating a spectacular sight.
▲ The water vapor formed by the waterfall often spreads above the waterfall pool. When exposed to the sunlight, a rainbow appears, showing the bright and dazzling neon in the clear sky, so it is named Rainbow Abyss.
