Green World Ecological Farm

Green World has been awarded "First Place in Excellent Farm Experience Evaluations" multiple times. It preserves pristine natural forests and beautiful lakes, with the entire park utilizing energy-efficient, low-carbon green buildings that stay warm in winter and cool in summer without air conditioning. Ecological engineering methods are employed to recycle rainwater and nourish the land. The park also conserves many endangered endemic Taiwanese species, such as the Taiwan yellow water lily and Formosan barking deer, attracting numerous domestic and international scholars for observation.

Green World not only features various plants and animals to explore, but also offers interactive ecological performances like parrot shows, alpaca walks, and holiday pelican feeding activities. Swan Lake, originally a natural lake, has been transformed into a nature-integrated themed zone through park planning. Home to numerous swans, pelicans, and wild ducks, this theme park offers visitors deeper insights into natural ecosystems. Particularly around the Mid-Autumn Festival each year, various wild duck species migrate from Siberia to inhabit this pristine lake. Most depart around Children's Day the following year, while those that remain continue breeding their next generation here, expanding the local wildlife population.

The Great Adventure Theme Park consists of 10 distinct zones, featuring a collection of rare and precious plant species. Among them are unique cacti that are rarely seen elsewhere, with many specimens over 100 years old. These cacti bloom once or twice a year, creating a spectacular sea of flowers with hundreds of thousands of colorful blossoms filling the air with fragrance and joy. The park also showcases precious native Taiwanese orchids, carefully nurtured by Green World's expert team, allowing visitors to admire their beauty. The Aquatic Plant Park is one of the largest of its kind in Asia, home to around 500 rare aquatic plant species, including Taiwan cow lilies, Taiwan quillworts, and Egyptian papyrus, with submerged, floating, emergent, and free-floating varieties. During the flowering season, butterflies flock here to gather nectar, offering visitors a rare chance to witness this spectacular view.

Bird Ecology Park: This park recreates a natural bird habitat, forming a wildlife sanctuary where hundreds of diverse bird species fly and forage around visitors. The immersive birdsong makes you feel like you're truly wandering through a wild jungle.

The Butterfly Ecological Park boasts an exceptionally rich variety of butterfly species, making it Asia's largest butterfly garden. Visitors can observe diverse species like Atlas moths, swallowtails, and yellow butterflies while witnessing the fascinating life cycle from mating and egg-laying to pupation and metamorphosis. The park features a nature classroom that cultivates rhinoceros beetles, stag beetles, bees, mantises, and grasshoppers, offering comprehensive educational exhibits about insect ecology.

Step into the mysterious biodiversity exploration zone, where African rock pythons coil on either side of the entrance. These massive snakes spend most of their time sunbathing motionless on the floor, their tea-brown patterns making them resemble decorative tree branches at first glance. Beyond the entrance lies a lush tropical rainforest habitat teeming with extraordinary creatures - from legless lizards and piranhas you've heard of but never seen, to tree frogs, geckos, and other species you may not even know existed.
