What to expect

Ginzan Onsen is located in Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, and was named after the discovery of silver mines more than 500 years ago. The winter here is rich in snowfall, and the century-old wooden houses on the hot spring street are wrapped in silver, like a dream, as if time has stood still. The clear water of Yinshan River flows through it with hot air, and the atmosphere is quiet, like a paradise, and there is also an oil house known as the real version of "Spirited Away".
