2. Select the tickets you wish to use from the ticket list.
3. On the ticket details page, tap the "Start Using" button to submit the ticket activation request.
4. The ticket details page will display a QR code. Align the QR code with the red QR code scanner on the automatic gate to pass through.
*If the station is not equipped with a QR code reader, a scanning QR code is posted on the side of the ticket gate. Please locate the QR code according to the signage.
Please scan the QR code via the "Scan Code" option on the ticket details page. The QR codes are categorized as "Entry Use" and "Exit Use" for the ticket gate. Select and scan the appropriate QR code as needed!
Important Notes
The QR code will be updated periodically. Please note that screenshots cannot be used. If the ticket gate displays an error, please press the "Refresh" button to update the QR code, then rescan it using the ticket gate's QR code reader.
· When multiple passengers are traveling together, please switch tickets and repeat the same process. Finally, passengers with smartphones (those who have completed account registration) should select their own tickets and scan the QR code at the ticket gate.
When scanning the QR code, please increase your screen brightness.

If the ticket gate displays an error, show your "Ticket (Issue Ticket No.)" to the staff. At unmanned ticket gates, press the call button on the ticket machine to summon staff and follow their instructions for entering or exiting the station.
· The transfer ticket gates between Shinkansen and conventional lines cannot be used.
When using the WEST QR service, you cannot board the Shinkansen or limited express trains other than HARUKA. To transfer to the Shinkansen, please exit through the conventional line ticket gate and then enter via the Shinkansen ticket gate using your Shinkansen ticket.
