How to use
Please go to the station ticket gate before the designated boarding time and show the e-ticket screen that appears after clicking the mobile voucher link to the staff.
This ticket does not need to be exchanged for a physical ticket. If there is no staff on site, please go directly to the reserved seat you reserved.
What to expect
A trolley is a box-shaped vehicle that was originally used as a small freight car for transporting luggage, running on rails in places where trucks and regular trains could not enter. A simple train that runs slowly with a rumbling sound. The Sagano Torokko Train is the perfect example of this image.
The speed is about the same as that of a slightly faster bicycle. This is why you can enjoy the nature and beauty of the valleys along the Hozu River. For about 25 minutes (one way) and about 7km, you can leisurely enjoy the different scenery of each season: cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves, barren fields in winter, and sometimes snowy scenery.
In spring, cherry blossoms bloom in full bloom, in summer you can hear the fresh greenery and the rustling of bamboo, in autumn the mountains are colored with red leaves, and in winter the mountains are covered in snow; throughout the year, the Sagano Torokko Train moves along alongside the beautiful scenery of the four seasons.
The stunning beauty of the scenery will leave a lasting memory for all visitors.
