About this experience

What to expect

The Music Box Museum is located on Mount Rokko in Kobe. It opened in 1994 and was recognized by Japan as an official automatic musical instrument museum in 1996. A wide variety of music boxes, pianos, violins, and percussion instruments from Europe and the United States from the 19th to the 20th centuries are displayed here. The eye-catching thing in the museum is one of the largest automatic playing pipe organs in the world, which is 8 meters wide and 5 meters high. It is worth mentioning that the museum not only has a collection of music boxes, but also offers music box making courses, as well as concerts of antique music boxes, which are very interesting. In addition, you can choose your favorite music and boxes in the custom music box studio to make your own music box.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel this booking?

Every option shows its own cancellation terms before you pay — where free cancellation applies, the window closes at 00:00 (midnight), local time at the destination, on the cut-off day. Cancel from My bookings within the window for a full refund (once your ticket has been issued, message support inside the window and we cancel it for you); after it, the option's terms apply. Full details in our cancellation & refund policy.

Can I change the date of my booking?

Date changes aren't automatic — they depend on the operator. Email support@readytrip.com from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date you'd like, and we'll ask the operator for you. Changes are subject to their approval and availability; if the date can't be moved, your booking's cancellation terms apply.
