- The Takachiho Railway will be closed on the third Thursday of each month and specific holidays, and will be replaced by other attractions during these periods.

- For regular tours, infants under 3 years old require a signed liability waiver to join and travel free of charge without a seat (must be held by parents).

- Traffic congestion is expected during Japanese holidays, and refunds will not be issued due to delays
- The round-trip hike to Takachiho Gorge takes approx. 30 min via stairs and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
- In case of severe weather, a decision on whether to cancel the trip will be made 1 day before departure.
- The Takachiho Railway will not operate from December 1 to February 28, and the attraction will be changed to Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine during this period.
