What to expect
Jigokudani Monkey Park is a unique nature reserve located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As an eco-friendly Attraction, the park provides an opportunity to observe and learn about the natural behavior of wild macaques. The macaques here are famous for their habit of soaking in hot springs during the winter, which has become a wonder that tourists from all over the world rush to witness. The park is located in a picturesque valley, and the natural beauty of each season is different. In winter, the snow-covered valley contrasts with the macaques in the hot springs, forming a picturesque scene. Visitors can enter the park along a specially built trail to observe the living habits and social behavior of the macaques up close. There is a viewing platform in the park to ensure that visitors can enjoy the activities of the macaques from a safe distance.

Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel this booking?
Every option shows its own cancellation terms before you pay — where free cancellation applies, the window closes at 00:00 (midnight), local time at the destination, on the cut-off day. Cancel from My bookings within the window for a full refund (once your ticket has been issued, message support inside the window and we cancel it for you); after it, the option's terms apply. Full details in our cancellation & refund policy.
Can I change the date of my booking?
Date changes aren't automatic — they depend on the operator. Email support@readytrip.com from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date you'd like, and we'll ask the operator for you. Changes are subject to their approval and availability; if the date can't be moved, your booking's cancellation terms apply.
