About this experience
Before installation, please make sure:
1. Your device supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.
2. Your phone is connected to a stable mobile network or Wi-Fi.
After the first installation, the eSIM will be bound to the current device and cannot be installed on or transferred to another device. Please confirm your device before installation.
For travelers to Türkiye: eSIM installation may not be possible within Türkiye, so please install it before arrival.Do not install too early, as it may activate while transiting through other supported countries/regions and shorten the validity period.
For travelers to other countries/regions, it is recommended to install the eSIM after arriving at your destination.

Method 1: One-Tap Installation
Complete the installation by clicking the “Install” button in the Trip.com app or the “One-Tap Install” link in your order voucher (iOS devices require iOS 17.4 or above).
Method 2: Scan QR Code / Manual Installation (Universal)
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip.com order and print it out or save it on another device in advance. (For iOS 17 or above and some Android devices, the QR code image can be saved directly to the phone.)
2. Go to “Settings” → “Cellular/Mobile Data” (iOS) or “SIM Card Manager” (Android).
3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap “Add eSIM/Add Cellular Plan” (iOS) or “Add SIM” (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning is not possible, you can manually enter the “SM-DP+ Address” and “Activation Code” provided in your order.
5. If Steps 3 or 4 fail, your device may be carrier-locked (restricted to a specific network). Please contact your carrier to unlock it before installing the eSIM.

Please complete the following settings only after arriving at your destination to avoid premature activation while passing through other covered countries/regions, which may cause the eSIM package to expire early:
1. Turn off your primary SIM (or disable “Mobile Data” for the primary SIM), and enable the eSIM network.
2. Enable this eSIM:
iOS: Select and enable this eSIM under “Cellular/Mobile Data”.
Android: Enable this eSIM under “SIM Manager/SIM Cards” and set “Mobile Data” to this eSIM.
3. Turn on “Data Roaming”.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after completing the above settings, please configure the APN and restart your phone. See details below.
[About APN]
1. If you purchased an eSIM covering multiple countries/regions and cannot connect after arriving in a new region, please manually switch the APN (it normally switches automatically).
2. Path to set APN:
iOS: “Settings” > “Cellular” > “Cellular Data Network”
Android: “Settings” > “Mobile Network/Cellular Network” > “Access Point Names (APN)”
3. Enter the APN according to the list below.
4. Restart your phone.
[How to Use the Renewal Data Plan]
The renewal order will be automatically activated after the original package expires. Please do not scan the QR code again.
After high-speed data is used up, simply restart your phone to use the renewed package.
If you want to use the eSIM on another device, please select “Book Again” instead of “Request Renewal”. Renewal plans cannot be transferred to another device.

Can I cancel this booking?
Every option shows its own cancellation terms before you pay — where free cancellation applies, the window closes at 00:00 (midnight), local time at the destination, on the cut-off day. Cancel from My bookings within the window for a full refund (once your ticket has been issued, message support inside the window and we cancel it for you); after it, the option's terms apply. Can I change the date of my booking?
Date changes aren't automatic — they depend on the operator. Email support@readytrip.com from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date you'd like, and we'll ask the operator for you. Changes are subject to their approval and availability; if the date can't be moved, your booking's cancellation terms apply.
