About this experience
What to expect
The aquarium showcases approximately 350 species with over 13,000 marine creatures, including iconic finless porpoises, penguins, otters, and sea lions. Based on the concepts of "healing" and "interaction," it offers visitors hands-on experiences like touch pools, sea lion shows, and penguin feeding sessions. The building harmonizes with its surroundings, featuring an elegant Japanese-style exterior. Miyajima Public Aquarium isn't just a place to observe marine life—it's also an educational hub for learning about the Seto Inland Sea ecosystem.
What's included

Things to note
- If there are any changes to business hours, such as closures due to bad weather such as typhoons or the health of animals, we will announce them on the Miyajima Aquarium official website.

Can I cancel this booking?
Every option shows its own cancellation terms before you pay — where free cancellation applies, the window closes at 00:00 (midnight), local time at the destination, on the cut-off day. Cancel from My bookings within the window for a full refund (once your ticket has been issued, message support inside the window and we cancel it for you); after it, the option's terms apply. Full details in our cancellation & refund policy.
Can I change the date of my booking?
Date changes aren't automatic — they depend on the operator. Email support@readytrip.com from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date you'd like, and we'll ask the operator for you.
