About this experience
2. After receiving your request, we will check the ticket availability for that day and attempt to reserve seats for you (reservations are required in advance for the Yufuin no Mori scenic train, and tickets can only be issued after successful reservation).
3. If the seat reservation is successful, we will notify you. After confirmation, we will issue your e-ticket with a QR code. Once issued, this booking cannot be refunded or modified.
4. You can collect your tickets at the JR staffed counter or ticket machine in the train station using the QR code we provide.
5. Optional meals can be purchased after buying your ticket. Please note that purchases made less than 3 days in advance will not be valid. The meal voucher will be linked to your ticket. Simply present your meal voucher at the dining car when boarding to redeem and enjoy your meal.

Things to note
- If your reservation is successful, we will notify you within 48 hours to check your e-ticket
- You can go to the dining car to receive the Food and Beverages voucher when you board the bus
- Children aged 5 and under can ride for free, but cannot occupy a seat alone
- Food and Beverages are Option and are the same price for adults and children.
- We will try our best to arrange for passengers to sit next to each other, but we cannot guarantee that all seats will be by the window.
- If your reservation is unsuccessful, we will contact you to reschedule or change departure time
- Please purchase them after purchasing the ticket

- Once the ticket is confirmed, it cannot be refunded or changed.

Can I cancel this booking?
Every option shows its own cancellation terms before you pay — where free cancellation applies, the window closes at 00:00 (midnight), local time at the destination, on the cut-off day. Can I change the date of my booking?
Date changes aren't automatic — they depend on the operator. Email support@readytrip.com from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date you'd like, and we'll ask the operator for you. Changes are subject to their approval and availability; if the date can't be moved, your booking's cancellation terms apply.
